Lykia World Golf Resort, a sojourn of serenity and seclusion, a place of superlatives, home to sumptuous sophisticated self-indulgence. When the Lykia Group commissioned the world famous golf course architect, Perry Dye, to design the Eastern Mediterranean’s first true links course, they knew it would need an exceptional hotel to enhance the project. The result is not so much an exceptional hotel but a sensational self-contained resort! Built at a cost of over seven million pounds and commanding an area of over 200 acres, including one and a half miles of superb , sandy beach, the Lykia World provides guests with everything they could ever imagine and then some!
Virtually every aspect of the resort is ground-breaking, from Turkey’s first links course to the unique concept designed to maximise the pleasure of every guest. Called the “Enjoyment Concept”, the resort is effectively divided into two sections, the “Balance and Relaxation Zone” encouraging sedate, silent recuperation, whilst the “Fun and Fitness Zone” caters for guests who prefer more active pursuits or of course you could combine both and play golf!
Lykia World boasts three outdoor pools and again these are segregated into the main pool, “Activity Pool” and “Relaxation Pool”. In addition there is an indoor pool exclusively for adults. Children are well provided for with a selection of four outdoor pools and an indoor pool.
The resort offers a selection of six restaurants to sate the most voracious of appetites, each specialising in a unique, delectable, dining discovery. The elegant main buffet restaurant, Leziz, will tantalise your taste buds with succulent International and Turkish cuisine, throughout the day. In the evenings the cuisine is themed to include Far Eastern flavours and the taste of Russia. Guests can even create dishes of their own choice and watch them being prepared and cooked. Á la Carte dining is also available with a choice of restaurants reflecting the cuisines of Italy, Asia, and Turkey. Alternatively, guests may wish to dine in the warm convivial ambiance of the Links Bar and Steak House which is located in the Golf Club or the Med Fish Restaurant by the beach. Advance reservation is usually required for the Á la carte restaurants, a relaxed dress code applies for all establishments in the evening and there may be age restriction in some restaurants for children. All drinks are chargeable in the Á la Carte restaurants and there may be a charge for food.
A veritable plethora of bars await to slake your thirst whether it be following the rigors of your round, a hard day soaking up the sun or your pre prandial potation. A total of 12 bars, located throughout the resort provide for infinite imbibing.
Lykia World’s theme of; “It’s your dream, you choose how you want to dream it” prevails throughout the resort but none more so than in the multitude of accommodation options available. From capacious standard terrace rooms, vibrantly decorated, featuring LCD TV and internet connection (chargable), a generous modern bathroom with bath tub and separate shower cubicle, to the Presidential Suite complete with Jacuzzi and indoor plunge pool! Accommodation is categorised into two sections, Golf and Resort. The Golf section offers four options, Delux Golf Room, Delux Suite, Duplex Hamam with private Turkish bath and Golf Villas. Whereas the Resort Section offers 10 variations of accommodation to include suites, Family Rooms, Duplex Terrace Suites and Superior Suites.
The spa and wellness centre is named “Ayurveda” meaning “Knowledge of Life” and guests can luxuriate in a myriad of therapeutic massage treatments.
Golfing guests who wish to play courses in Belek will find a regular shuttle service at a very reasonable charge.
World Golf are pleased to offer Lykia World on two alternative concepts, Half Board, which may present a more practical option for golfers or Full Board “Plus” which includes lunch “Plus” wine, beer and other light refreshments consumed in the open buffet restaurants.
